As before, right click on your desktop and navigate to your graphic card’s control panel. Ok, now you’re back in and ready to adjust your video card settings. You might have to log out and back into Windows if you actually changed the scaling properties. If you haven’t done so already, set the scaling to whatever seems reasonable for your work environment so you don’t have to squint in order to read. However those issues are usually not limited to the clone stamp tool. Just a side note, there are several instances when the lag could be caused by the graphics card. We tried tweaking every property in the preferences panel in Photoshop. One of the best things we found is to use the same brand and display resolution across multiple monitors. The scaling issue is especially common when using multiple monitors and using the clone stamp tool or, enabling the ruler in Photoshop. That don’t scale the actual display properly when communicating with the software. Now ultrawide displays are great for graphic design and video editing, but! There are still a lot of bugs in the Windows O.S. The second, we found, was much less discussed, if at all, and was caused by ultrawide display monitors. We found that there are two scenarios when you’ll notice a lag when using the clone stamp tool in Photoshop. Just something we figured out based on trial and error.
